It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Samantha Cortes Zarski, beloved resident of Milltown, NJ.  Sammie was born on May 21, 2012 and took her last breathe on March 13, 2025.

Sammie is survived by her loving parents, Tara and Jason Zarski, her sister Abby, Grandparents Hector and Carolann Cortes and Maryann and Wade Ernst, Aunts and Uncles, and so many cousins that adored her and will miss her immeasurably. She is also survived by her service dog Gus, who she loved with all her heart. Sammie leaves behind her best friends that she cherished and all the memories they made together.

Gone too soon and forever 12, Sammie will be remembered for her beauty and grace, her incredible kindness and love, and her unbelievable strength and love of life. She had a smile that could light up an entire room and brighten the darkest of days. 

We welcome all whose hearts that have been touched by Sammie to join us in celebrating her beautiful life on Monday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the Bronson and McNamara Memorial Home of Milltown. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 11:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown.
