Richard Torres Moreno of East Brunswick, NJ passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 13, 2024 at RWJ Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.  He was 40 years old. Born in the Dominican Republic, Richard came to the United States as a child in 1993.  He grew up in New Brunswick before relocating to East Brunswick twelve years ago.  Richard was devoted to his family and an excellent and loving father to his three sons.  He was also an avid gardener, fisherman, and Giants fan (despite the constant disappointment).

Predeceased by his grandfather Enercido Moreno-Ogando; Richard is survived by his beloved wife Ann, sons Jason, Rocco, and Rexy; parents Baldemira and Erasmo; sisters Elizabeth and Juana;  brothers Samuel and Aaron; nephew and godson Azari; nieces Elianna and Eliza; close friends Lisa, Julio, Pedro, Israel, and Mahesh; Eylin, mother of his first son Jason Richard Torres; and the innumerable people he touched throughout his life – Richard considered so many of them family.

Family and friends will be received Thursday from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Bronson and McNamara Memorial Home of Milltown, NJ.  There will be a brief gathering on Friday 10:00am at the funeral home followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery, North Brunswick.
