Nicholas F. Rost, Jr. of Bridgewater, NJ passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.  He was 84 years old.  Nicky worked for Rutgers University for thirty years. 

Predeceased by his mother Anne M. Rost and father Nicholas F. Rost, Sr.; step-father Lewis Denton; sisters Annemarie Hartman (Edward) and Patricia Robinson (Robert); brother Mathias J. Rost, II; and brother-in-law Ronald Koye.  Nicky is survived by his sisters Ada May Barber (Richard) and Marge Koye; niece and caregiver Sharon Fell and her sons Jeffery (Kristin) and Douglas (Megan), whom he lived with for the past fourteen years; great-nephew Cameron; sister-in-law Holly O’Brien; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends will be received Sunday 3:00pm – 7:00pm at the Bronson and McNamara Memorial Home of Milltown, NJ.  The funeral mass will be celebrated Monday 10:00am at Our Lady of Peace RC Church followed by burial at St. Peters Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
