In Loving Memory of Minerva Rosa Rios Mendez

 
Minerva, age 65, of Staten Island, found her peace on April 10, 2025, after a life lived with strength, grace, and deep love. She left this world with the comfort of knowing how deeply she was cherished, and she is now resting in Heaven, where her spirit lives on.

She was a force of nature—fierce, feisty, and full of life. There was fire in her spirit and warmth in her laughter. She danced, she laughed, and she found joy in music. And when life placed obstacles in her path, she didn’t just face them—she conquered them, time and time again.

She was also gentle and deeply devoted to those she cared about. She gave so much of herself to this world and never stopped fighting for the people and things she loved.

To us, she is and always will be the strongest woman we’ve ever known. If we can carry even a piece of her courage with us, we’ll be better for it.
