Michael J Jaskot passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 79, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family and friends. Mike, fondly known as Jazz, was born to Michael and Sophie Jaskot. He graduated from Rutgers University, served honorably in the US Army and spent his entire career in the pharmaceutical industry.
He loved boating, water skiing, and just being on the water. Some of his greatest memories involved family hikes and spending summers at the Jersey Shore fishing and crabbing. Mike was an avid vegetable gardener who shared his love of growing Jersey tomatoes and grilling with a large close-knit family.
While Mike left us far too soon, he always had meaningful advice for his two daughters who continue to honor him by living their lives to the fullest. He was the cornerstone of his family.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Bunny, two daughters, Jennifer and Meghan, son-in-law, Jared and three loyal dogs, Lil, Georgi and Abbey.
Mike’s wish was to be cremated. Donations can be made in Mike’s name to St Jude’s, his favorite charity. In lieu of services, a Celebration of Life is being planned in his honor.
