Maria Davila of Old Bridge NJ passed away December 6 2022 at

Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center New Brunswick.

Maria was 94 years old.

Maria was born and raised in Bayamon Puerto Rico relocating to Jersey City NJ in 1949.

She owned and operated a confectionary store in Jersey City with her husband for 10 years.

Maria also worked as a seamstress for various companies and in retail before retiring in 1995.

Maria was a resident of East Brunswick and Spotswood for 42 years,

Maria was a loving and helpful grandmother and was beloved by friends

for her compassion and caring. She was resilient and held an unwavering faith in God.

Maria was married to Jorge Davila in April 1955 until his passing in December 1996.

Maria is survived by her brother Efrain Torres, son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Nancy Davila,

grandchildren: Erik, Larissa, and Deanna, great-grandchildren: Lea, Persephone

and loving extended family.

In lieu of flowers, as per her wishes mass cards and prayers would be appreciated.
