Margaret D. (Werner) Isak Obituary

Margaret D. Isak of New Brunswick, NJ passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick.  She was 93 years old.  Born in New Brunswick, Margaret was a life-long resident.  She was a member of St. Peter’s High School Class of ’46 and attended Farleigh Dickinson University.  Margaret was employed in pharmaceutical manufacturing by Bristol Meyer Squibb for over 20 years before her retirement.  She was a parishioner of St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, New Brunswick.  Margaret loved to shop and couldn’t pass up a good bargain whenever she found one.  She was devoted to her family as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.


Predeceased by her parents Henry George and Margaret (née Messmer) Werner, Jr.; beloved husband Charles Isak, Sr. in 1976; eldest son Charles Isak, Jr. in 2014; and sister Harriet Loraine Mott;  Margaret is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law George Werner and Corinne “Cory” Isak; grandsons Kyle  and Justin and his wife Lori; and great-grandson Harrison Charles. 


Friends will be received Wednesday 4-7pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.  The funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, 10am at the funeral home followed by burial at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick, NJ.
