Leia A. Toth of Milltown, NJ passed away December 26, 2021 at her home. She was 80 years old. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was a life-long resident of Milltown. Although mostly a homebody, Leia liked trips to Atlantic City. She was a cat lover that enjoyed playing with her daughter’s cats and would even buy food for the stray cats in the neighborhood. She was a devoted Fox News watcher. Leia was well-known as the family pot-stirrer.
Predeceased by her parents Mary Fumko Lix and Matthew Lix, husband Joseph Toth, brothers Mickey Lix and Matthew Lix, and sister Carole Poulson; Leia is survived by her children Leia Bacchetta of Iselin, NJ; Lisa Jurgensen of Old Bridge, NJ; Joseph Toth of Tustin, CA; and Christine Higgins of Milltown, NJ; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Sunday 6:00-8:00pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ. The funeral service will be celebrated Monday 10:30am at the funeral home followed by burial at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick, NJ.
