Laura (La Fazia) Bargiachi

Laura Bargiachi of Milltown, NJ passed away peacefully on July 6, 2020 at her home.  She was 93 years old.  Born in San Salvatore, Italy, Laura was a longtime resident of Milltown.  She was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Milltown.  Her life rested on the foundations of faith and family.  She was a devout Catholic and a loving, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She showed her love for her family through words and actions; none more appreciated than her skillful cooking.

Predeceased by her beloved husband of  over 50 years, Carmine in 2003, Laura is survived by daughter and son-in-law Antonia and Frank Rao; daughter Giovanna Molfese; grandchildren Jon-Paul, Danielle, Maria Laura, and David Carmine; and great-grandchildren Fiona, Quinn, Vito, and Ramsey. She was very much loved by the family dog Basil.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday 9-11am at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.  The funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church followed by entombment at Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick, NJ.  In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
