Joseph J. Zanghi of Milltown, NJ passed away on September 26, 2022 at the Memorial Veterans Home, Menlo Park, NJ.  He was 76 years old.  Born in Johnstown, PA, he was a near-lifelong resident of Milltown, NJ. Joseph honorably served his country in the USMC during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of American Legion Post 25, Milltown.  Joseph was an avid saltwater fisherman, particularly fluke fishing.  As a builder for 42 years, Joseph’s legacy can be seen in many buildings in the area.  This is particularly true in Milltown where he was responsible for constructing many buildings in town including the Borough Park Pavilion. Joseph was a proud veteran who loved his family and country. 

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rose Zanghiand sister Jeanne Quigley; Joseph is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Alice Zanghi, daughter Ann Marie Zanghi, Lauren and Michael Hammond; grandchildren Amanda, Olivia, Joey, and Cillian; brother and sister-in-law Peter and Elizabeth “Betsy” Zanghi; and beloved dog Doc.

Family and friends will be received for the memorial wake Tuesday 4:00pm – 7:00pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.
