Jakub Bobkowski Obituary

Jakub Bobkowski of North Brunswick, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on June 5, 2025.  He was 43 years old.  He fought a private and valiant battle after being diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma in October.

Born in Bialystok, Poland, Jakub immigrated to the US in 1992 at the age of 11 and remained a resident of NJ until his passing.  He was employed as an aircraft mechanic, a position he was deeply proud of, for over ten years by Executive Fight, Inc. dba Airshare. Jakub was one of the few individuals who beamed with joy to go to work.

Jakub loved cars, restoring cars (particularly his Porsche), autocross, flying, and a good deal.  He enjoyed good food and vacations with his family, particularly to Thailand and Poland. Jakub was devoted to health and fitness and was a Crossfitter.

Above all, Jakub was devoted to his family and friends and treasured every moment he could spend with them.

Jakub is survived by his beloved wife of over 11 years Wanwipar “Joyce” Bobkowski, beloved children Jack and Charlotte, parents Adam and Zofia, brother Przemek, best friends (more like family) Ron and Enicka, and friends Will, Mario, Roman, and Arthur.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday 2:00pm – 6:00pm at the Bronson and McNamara Memorial Home of Milltown, NJ. The funeral service will be celebrated at 4pm at the funeral home. Final disposition will be private.

Memorial donations may be made in Jakub’s name to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation - https://www.cholangiocarcinoma.org/donate/
