Gene N. Cooper Obituary

Gene N. Cooper passed away at home on June 21, 2020. He grew up in Pennsylvania, worked in his father’s dairy business, and joined the United States Coast Guard as a young man. He left the USCG as an officer and a highly skilled aviator, with experience in many types of aircraft, and many missions completed. He then began his career with a major airline, from which he retired as a captain in 1992.
Gene was predeceased by his wife Janice, to whom he was married for over 62 years. He is survived by two sons, three grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and three siblings.
Arrangements and cremation will be private. His final resting place, following military commitment, is to be at the General William Doyle Military Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey.
