Evelyn Madeline Renken

EVELYN MADELINE RENKEN, 78, of Phenix VA, passed away on Wednesday 12/20 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital in VA.

Daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn Anderson.

Born in the Bronx, NY in 1945 she raised her 4 children in North Brunswick NJ and moved to Arkansas in 1994 for a few years where she purchased her beloved Horse, Rainy.

In 2008 she moved into her home in Phenix VA and lived there until her death.

She will be remembered for her love of her 4 children David, Kenneth, Wayne and Karen.

An avid lover of many pet animals throughout her life. Most recently Her dog Charlie, Cat Little Girl and her Horse Rainy who was with her for 30 years.

Her playful hearty laugh was one of a kind, her ability to live a strong independent life as a woman who made her own choices. She will also be remembered for her volunteer work at church and the community.

Surviving are her loving children David and Patricia Spitzfaden of North Brunswick NJ, Kenneth Renken of Lawrence NJ ,Wayne Renken of East Brunswick NJ, and Karen Galgani of East Windsor NJ.

Her Sister Kathy Anderson of Helmetta NJ and predeceased sister Carol Condron of South Brunswick NJ.

Seven Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren.

Her wish was to be cremated.
