Dorothy H. Fisko

Dorothy H. Fisko of Helmetta, NJ passed away surrounded by her loved ones December 24, 2018 at St. Peters Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.  She was 90 years old.  Born and raised in New Brunswick, she had been a resident of Helmetta for over 40 years.  She was employed as an electronics tech by Applied Electronics, Symphonic Electronics, and Roche.  Dorothy was an animal lover and supporter of the Audobon Society, and loving owner of 2 Samoyeds.  She loved hiking and the outdoors and saw the exquisite beauty of a puffy white cloud in the blue sky.  She was an avid reader of non-fiction, a fan of Roy Orbison, and involved in local politics.  Dorothy is survived by her lifetime partner Ruby Fortenberry, sister Marian Perrine, beloved great-nephew Brent Evans, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and her special companions J.T. and Molly.  Family and friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.  The funeral service will be celebrated Saturday 10am at the funeral home followed by burial at Van Liew Cemetery.
