Cynthia M Ciaccio of Malverne, NY passed away at home on August 7, 2024. She was born and raised in Queens, NY and resided in Malverne for more than 25 years. She was the beloved daughter of Christa A. Ciaccio and one of five siblings. Cindy, as she preferred to be called, was Vice President and COO of the Weeks Lerman Group of Maspeth, NY for over 25 years before her retirement. She was affectionately known as the "Boss Lady" both at work and in her personal life.
Cindy is predeceased by her older brother Peter David Ciaccio. She is survived by her mother, Christa Ciaccio of Cranford NJ, her brothers Kenneth and his wife Joanne of Milltown, NJ, and Christopher and his wife Jennifer, of East Brunswick, NJ, her sister Jami Mattson and her partner Michael Volpe of Pompton Lakes, NJ and sister in law, Siobhan Ciaccio of Calabash, NC.
Cindy is also survived by the nieces and nephews that she adored, Matthew Ciaccio of Parlin, NJ, Michael K Ciaccio of Milltown, Melissa, Sarah and Michael A Ciaccio of East Brunswick, Nicole Mattson of Vernon, NJ, Jessica DeBenedetto and her husband Thomas of Wayne NJ, Alyssa Ciaccio and her husband Ryan English of Gainesville, FL, Vito Ciaccio and his wife Deirdre of Mineola, NY and five great nieces Olivia, Isabella, Marceline, Esmeralda and Quinn.
Cindy cherished her annual family vacations in the Bahamas, where many lifelong memories were made over the years with family and friends alike. During the summer months, her backyard BBQ/pool parties were a favorite of all who knew her. Cindy's heart truly was most joyful during the Christmas celebrations that she hosted in her home. Every year, she transformed her home into a festive wonderland, with many loved ones gathering to sing songs, play games and eat wonderful food.
Cindy adored her beloved dogs. She had many over the years and their companionship brought immeasurable joy and comfort into her life, enriching her days with their unwavering loyalty and unconditional love.
Throughout her life, Cindy always lived her life to the fullest and approached each day with an unwavering zest for living.
