Ashton D. Ailey Obituary
Ashton was a caring, loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, and friend. He left this world unexpectedly the morning of January 25, 2022, at age 31.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 21, 1990. Ashton and his family relocated to New Jersey when he was three years old. He attended Land O Pine School, Howell Middle North, and Freehold Township High School where he did track & field, played football and received academic recognitions. After high school graduation, he continued his education at Virginia State University, Pace University – Lubin School of Business, received a Certificate in Construction Administration at NYU School of Professional Studies, and graduated from Rutgers University Business School, May 2020. He was in the process of continuing his education by attending graduate school, majoring in Computer Science to begin September 2022.
While Ashton attended college, he also received his Real Estate License and worked in real estate as a Sales Associate and Leasing Agent in New York for several years. He was enthusiastic in starting his own company – Ailey Advertising LLC which he opened in October 2021.
Ashton was very intelligent, creative, and ambitious in all aspects of his life, especially in real estate, business, and computers. He was definitely our go-to person when we lacked knowledge in any of those areas.
During Ashton’s free time, you could find him enjoying watching sports, especially football from his alma mater. He was always kind and eager to help others no matter the distance he had to travel.
Ashton will greatly be missed. He is survived by his father Winston Ailey, mother Cynthia Ailey, sister Kareen Ailey, brother Dwayne Ailey and sister-in-law Shijuan Ailey, nieces Kayla Ailey and Karissa Ponds, nephews Quonn and Ameer Ailey, grandfather Aston Small, several uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Friends will be received Sunday 11:00am – 2:00pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ. The funeral service will be celebrated at 1:00pm. Final disposition is private.
